One of Collingwood’s first Microblade Artists, Lisa Gould began offering services in a small home studio in 2016. Growing up in Saint John, New Brunswick, this easy-going East Coaster never imagined a career in the beauty business. She spent her time playing a multitude of sports, hiking and competing in international pool tournaments. A self-described tomboy, Lisa’s beauty regimen consisted mainly of ball caps and Blistex. Little did she know that her low maintenance style, dedication to practice, precision and skill development as well as her eye for natural beauty would be just what she needed to stand out in this industry.

Relocating to Ontario offered a fresh new start and inspired her to elevate her sense of style and find the confidence to redefine beauty standards that felt authentic to her. Although she was beginning to appreciate the way cosmetics could help to enhance natural beauty, establish an identity and build confidence, she often found that traditional products just weren’t compatible with her active lifestyle. She wanted to be able to get up and go in the mornings, to spontaneously jump into Georgian Bay after work and to sweat through her favourite sports and adventures. When she first heard of permanent makeup procedures, it not only offered a solution for her personal life it sparked her entrepreneurial spirit and Beauty Box was born.

Lisa Gould is now a Certified Laser, Microblading and Lash Lift Artist with over 7 years of experience and hundreds of happy clients. As the business grew she looked to offer more services that offer simple solutions for her and her clients to feel their best and in 2019 became a Certified Laser Technician offering state of the art med-aesthetic laser treatment such as laser hair removal, body contouring, and skin rejuvenation. Lisa loves the work she does because it combines her interests in science and art and it allows her to build meaningful relationships with clients where she encourages them to define their own standard for beauty and learn to love the way they look and feel.
